1. ride your own ride dont outpace yourself to keep up with your friends.
2. dont grab a handful of brake while in a good lean/in a turn , you will greatly increase your chances of goin down.
3. bikes like smooth responses. throttle, braking, turns , be smoooooth wit it. |

I havent heard much about this.When i,m just going to work, i always carry a weapon.I am always looking for a better way of carrieing my Glock or my smith and wesson.I dont belive a bike is worth dieing for but i work to dam hard to just give over my bike.I might get off of it for them , but thay wont drive off.Conealed carry laws help keep it fair.When thay out law guns, only outlaws will have them. |

Yes, I agree with Shua, try out the cam in the face thing, its a little less hassle with cables, and its all self contained. Later if it doesn't fit your comfort try something like mine or Gix750's |

I had the diablo strada's for my latest vids.. they were really good in the corners, and claim to wear less in the middle. Time will tell. So far though I've got 5000Km on em, and no middle wear that's obvious, and I travel highways a lot. |

As many of you know, I have been trying to find the solution for helmet camera setups and interesting angles for video cameras on bikes.
I have in my hands the Go Pro Hero Digital Camera.
My initial review before actual moto testing is as follows;
File Size:
- 2GB SD Memory Card is the maximum size card allowed.
- 56 Minutes of video can be recorded.
Video:
- Great Quality in the Light
- Great Frames Per Second (30)
Sound:
- D+
- Mic worked while the camera was not in the waterproof box.
- Mic did not work once I turned Mic sensitivity to LOW and installed waterproof box.
- Not enough time to work on audio yet, stay tuned.
Conclusion so far:
This is going to be an AWESOME backup camera which I cannot wait to use for ONLY VIDEO. I will probably use a 2nd and 3rd camera along with this one, and use the audio only from a different camera.
This camera is PERFECT if you want to use the video only for AWESOME Camera Angles. Just cut the audio out and add some music.

Check all the fluid levels, check the tyres condition and air pressure, allow the engine to warm up properly, if all is good then run the tank as far down as you can because if it sits it can cause the tank to get grimey or worse. There's probably other stuff you want to be checking but those are the main things that come to mind. |

Short of memorizing I'd advise you learn to look for an exit for a corner before you reach it at the least, otherwise you're going to have to slow down until you can see the exit. |

Bullet Cam - $140

KPA-1 Mic - $11
You need a cell phone battery for the Mini DVR. And you need an SD Memory card for the Mini DVR also. Probably $50 for both if you find a good deal.
So - $560 Total. Gives you 640x480 at 30 Frames Per Second.
You might be able to drop the price by buying an Aptek Video Camcorder with AV Input. I will look into that. Might save you $200. |
