In 1969 when LED ZEPPELIN released their very first album, the 3 month old band knocked THE BEATLES' ABBEY ROAD out of the NUMBER 1 SPOT on the BILLBOARD CHARTS.
During one of their first concerts in Sweden, an heiress to the ZEPPELIN family threatened to have the concert stopped if the band used her name, therefore LED ZEPPELIN performed as THE KNOBS, British slang for the penis. |

Without a doubt...."Stairway to Heaven" is mine - I'll never forget leaving my parents' gravesites and this song coming on the radio as I drove out of the cemetery...it gave me chills.... |
