Angie Zapata, 18, was murdered on July 17, 2008 in Greeley, CO by a man she met online after he found more...out that she was born biologically as a male. Angie, who was born Justin, had been living as a woman for almost 3 years when she was killed. The murderer, Allen Andrade, 32, beat Angie with his fists and a fire extinguisher. He was found guilty of 1st Degree murder and of a hate crime on April 22, 2009 and was sentenced to life without parole. less
