| |  | Well my family celebrates St. Patrick's day - it's in Mom's blood (last name, Dad's side, is clearly German). I can't speak for Quebec but Winnipeg, Manitoba has a HUGE cultural event every August: "Folklorama". There is more than one Celtic pavilion; you're basically _IN_ the country of your choice for an hour or two, then you go to another one. It's weird more people haven't heard of my city, for which "Winnie-The-Poo" is named and.... the best music comes outta here!

| | | | Since my name was "Karen Kelly" for the first 13 days of my life until I was adopted by a family with British roots who renamed me 'Chelle - and then since I was reunited with my biological family who I discovered has Irish roots...
I was very excited to hear strayfer on LV tell me that there is one of the biggest Irish festivals in Canada (I believe he said ni Montreal? But, please correct me if I am and I hope to see Canadians from LV post videos of it from this year!
