It's so hard to say goodbye
On gentle wings I will soon fly
The innocent laughter and joy you have brought
Is much more explosive than I could have thought
You are my life and I hope
I've given you a strong enough rope
To walk along this crazy world
Without feeling like a cyclone twirled
My photos and presence may soon fade
Know I will be watching you every step of the way
Grieve for me if you must,
Just make sure that you trust
That my love for you could never diminish or die.

| |  | I only seem to write poetry when I am so upset or sad that nothing else helps. Also I only seem to like poems that have deep meaning and make me full of wonder or cry.
