| | | Unfortunatly, yes.
While RoyA went on spouting quite a bit of ignorance himself, all three of the other comments have good points.
It's not that the intelligent individuals in our country are being rushed into decisions by some invisible "frantic-pace". It's that they are too few and far between in the mass of herd animals we call American citizens.
Liberal media my ass. There is nothing liberal about it. Also, I personally have never heard an intelligent liberal minded person say that if we get our troops home, all will be magically alright. They say the troops should be home because we don't belong in the middle east.
Ah, but I digressed. With the general populace being so uneducated and not even willing to try to be well informed, yes; the media influences most voters choices. by nuitdevotremort | Posted: Jun 6, 08
| | | | They do affect the voting class people.Media shows such stuff with high-quality mixing that the locals believe in it and chane their attitude and their decisions. Hence we can say that the MEDIA affects the voting class and their THOUGHTS. by SAMUELSKUWAR | Posted: Apr 11, 08 | | |
| | | | Yes, the media influences the voters. I have to agree with Havenbrux. Our world is too fast paced and we only hear what the liberal media wants us to hear. I am for ever getting emails about the candidates and what they are going to do to save us all. The liberals are blowing smoke and want us to believe that if the troops come home then all will be OK with the world. The media wants us to believe that the middle east hates us because we are occupying their homeland. Truth is Musslims hate the US because we are the US, because we don't fall down and submit to their will, and because they are tought to believe that all other religions are false and nonmusslims should be put to death to satisfy the all mighty Mohammad. They don't want to convert us, teach us, or tolerate us, no they just want to kill us... by RoyA | Posted: Apr 9, 08 | | |
| | | | I think media bias is responsible for some serious misinformation and exaggerations on which people base their opinions on both sides of the isle. I know there are plenty of strong, intelligent people in our country who can figure things out and make an intelligent decision in spite of media bias. Unfortunately, our society has become so hurried and frantic-paced that intelligent people find it impossible to take the time to fully research things as much as needed, so decisions are based on either ultimately gut-feeling or best efforts, which are influenced by the media.
- Didn't mean to make "yes" so complicated :P - by Havenbrux | Posted: Apr 9, 08
