| | | Again, a comment that I disagree with from RoyA.
And Havenbrux might be a long lost brother of mine! Haha.
Definitly would have been Ron Paul, even though he had no chance. Either way, the president has very little power. Of course, our votes don't decide the presidental election. So I must insist to you:
VOTE FOR YOUR CONGRESSMAN! by nuitdevotremort | Posted: Jun 6, 08
| | | | Seems that this election year we are left with three options as of right now. There's the Boat, The devil and the deep blue sea. McCain's the boat. He may not be the best but at least he has a chance to keep the US a float. Then there's the Devil, Obama, I truly believe that he is the anti-Christ so he would surely lead us to hell, and the deep Blue Sea, Hillary, she cold and seems to go on endlessly like the ocean. She teases us with promise of sustenance and unified health care. If you are adrift on the ocean, you can survive for a while by drinking the salt water, but you'll eventually go mad and die of dehydration. Water, water everywhere, and all the boards did shrink. Water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink. by RoyA | Posted: Apr 9, 08 | | |
| | | | Ron Paul :) Actually, I did contribute to his campaign even though I knew he couldn't make it to the big leagues.
The entire system is corrupt, and I believe the president has far less power than it appears, and that large un-named interests really control the machinery behind this facade of democracy that we see.
That said, of the candidates still standing, I would have to reluctantly vote for McCain. I'm an independent, but I am very opposed to the kind of globalization and pacifism that would likely be assisted by Clinton or Obama. by Havenbrux | Posted: Apr 9, 08
